Hi everyone my name is Kate! I’m a fourth year Economics major here at UCSB and I’m from Washington DC. I play the piano in the jazz program as well as a few IV bands throughout my time here. I have been in jazz since my first year and have loved watching this community grow into something beyond just a group of students making music together. As social chair it’s my goal to coordinate social events, manage social media, and create a welcoming community for all of jazz.
